I can’t even plan my own life more than 3 days in advance, but I’m going to give you nearly 3 months of advance notice about this year’s Quail Motorcycle Gathering, the 8th annual occurrence. It’s quite a visual treat, both in terms of the local scenery and the featured machinery, so you should try to make it out!
Per the organization hosting the event (Peninsula Signature Events), the shenanigans start on Friday, May 13th with a 100 mile group jaunt through Monterey called the Quail Ride. The main event is the next day and ticket holders can get in at 10am. They expect 300 bikes to show up, and featured classes include BMW classics, the 40th anniversary of Superbikes, and pre-1916 motorcycles.
If you want a reminder, here’s my recap of last year’s event. Then go here to get tickets!
