I realize that it’s very rare when I feature a bike built in the last couple of years. But after being inspired by yesterday’s RC45, it’s nice to see a modern homologation bike from Big Red – today’s example is the 2014 Honda CBR1000RR SP.
It’s not as exotic as the RC30 or RC45, but you’ll still get high spec components like like Ohlins suspenders, Brembo brakes, and a hand-balanced engine. Ooooh, fancy. For more on the SP and what makes it special (for just $2,700 more than the base 1000RR), check out this review (with feedback from Miguel Dhuhamel himself) from Cycle World.
This specific Honda CBR1000RR SP has apparently been sitting at a dealership long enough for them to make a Craigslist ad about it. It’s a brand new bike, so I don’t have a story to tell you about it!
Find this Honda CBR1000RR SP for sale here on Craigslist in Cedarburg, Wisconsin for $16,699.
