Starting with a square-fendered Monza 250 he acquired in 2007, this seller converted a stock bike into a Moto Giro competitor. While I don’t enjoy the overall aesthetic package, it looks like the seller did a good job upgrading the mechanics of this bike for competition.
After a few years of competition, the seller retired this bike (VIN: DM2501022430)
and it has since done some street and show duty. The fenders, tank, and seat all different from the stock bike – hopefully you like the way it looks more than I do. Wheels were redone by Buchanans with Excel components, the rear shocks are from Works Performance, there’s an open velocity stack on the Dell’orto carb, and it’s got a Gear Gazer so you can stare at the bevel drive. The bike is claimed to be well sorted, with good brakes, comfortable ergonomics, and better handling than stock – but note that there’s no title!
It sat for a year but has been brought back to life, so find this Monza racer for sale in Stamford, Connecticut with bidding up to $1,928 and the reserve not yet met
