The longer I’ve run this site, the more I’ve realized how often motorcyclists get involved with airplanes (or maybe it’s vice-versa). So I wasn’t surprised to learn about George Dockray, a former aircraft mechanic who built this absolutely stunning Moto Guzzi, a replica of vintage race bikes built by Manel Segarra out of Cartagena, Spain. George noticed that Segarra’s bikes were dominating a vintage series called DECCLA, and George flew out to Spain to learn more. He was suitably inspired to take an already custom Guzzi he owned, and turn it into what you see in front of you.
This bike was built over several years, and while I’ll get into a tiny amount of detail below, I’m sure you’re going to want to learn a lot more. You’re in luck – Motorcycle Classics did a profile on this exact bike a few years ago.
This specific Moto Guzzi Custom Segarra Replica has lots of engine work done by Mike Rich Motorsports, with a Megacycle X10 cam, 40mm Dell’ortos, YSS shocks, radar detector, laser jammer, Moto Spezial dash, and a ton more.
Find this Moto Guzzi Custom Segarra Replica for sale here on Moto Borgotaro for $25,000 in Brooklyn, New York.
