4-14 Update: Looks like the bike didn’t sell on Ducati.ms, so now it’s available with bidding up to $4,550 and the reserve not yet met
In the March/April issue of Motorcycle Classics, there’s a feature on a very cool Ducati Pantah 500SL – a very rare bike in the US. How convenient that the featured bike is now available for purchase…
Considering how comprehensive that write-up is, I won’t bother you with many details. Here are the highlights – 45 horsepower out of a 499cc V-Twin, 433 pound wet weight and a top speed of 115 miles per hour. Oh, and bodywork that stands out in any sort of crowd!
This specific Pantah 500SL has 11,250 miles on the odometer and is stock except for some rubber items. It’s claimed to ‘run like a top’ and has had plenty of recent mechanical work – rebuilt carbs, replaced fork seals and valve seals, etc. Find it for sale in Libertyville, Illinois for $8,500 or best offer here on Ducati.ms.
