Post-Listing Update: Despite 46 bids on eBay, the Mud Dauber did not meet reserve with bidding up to $11,600.
Built to “ride like a supermoto or dirt bike”, the Mud Dauber is a Sportster scrambler custom that took a year to build. For what it’s worth, dauber is defined as “a crude or inartistic painter.”
This bike will be featured in an upcoming issue of Hot Bike magazine, and it’s claimed to be a joy on asphalt or dirt. Annoyingly, the seller says “the list of custom modifications is too long to list here, so I won’t,” but there seems to a list and build photos that he’ll share with the buyer. Either way, it’s quirky and it’s fun, so I have no hesitations about sharing it.
