Needs Some Work – 1928 Harley Davidson Peashooter

In America, Race by AbhiLeave a Comment

Harley-Davidson released the Peashooter to compete in the 350cc class of AMA racing, and it was clearly designed with one purpose – because you didn’t get a clutch, transmission, or even brakes!

The Peashooter was introduced in ’26 and was quite successful in the 21 cubic inch class. Racing versions of this bike could nearly hit 100 miles per hour, even though the class was designed to limit engine size to keep racing speeds safer. So much for that!
