Post Sale Update: This Silver Jubilee sold for $24,100 after 15 bids on eBay.
To celebrate the 25th year of Queen Elizabeth’s reign, Triumph built a limited edition of 2,400 Bonnevilles with silver/red/blue paint, a blue seat with red piping, some chrome, and decals on the sidecovers. Of the 2,400 bikes, 1,000 went to the US, 1,000 stayed home in the UK, and the rest were built for Commonwealth export. I’ve featured a few Silver Jubilees before, but this is the first one I’ve seen that’s never been assembled!
Per the seller, this bike is one of six that have been donated by former off-road racer Gerald Pacholke in an effort to raise money for Chestnut Mountain Ranch, a Christian children’s home.
The bike was originally delivered to H&H Cycle in Willoughby, Ohio and until this listing the box had never been opened. The seller “made two careful cuts and folded cardboard back” to show what’s inside. Find this crate for sale in Morgantown, West Virginia with an unmet opening bid of $19,500
