Post-Sale Update: Incredibly (at least to me) these Z50s sold for $42,500 after 43 bids on eBay!
In December 1986, Honda gave each of their top two retailers in the US a limited edition of the Z50 mini trails. It was called the Z50RDG – the D stood for Dealer, and I can’t figure out what the G signified. Some know it was the “Chrome Edition” as pretty much everything (even the frame) is chromed. Others call it the “Christmas Special” due to the timing of the release. Either way, some enthusiasts consider it to be the cream of the Z50 crop. Impressively, a seller has the crate with two bikes still in it, almost 30 years later. It’ll be interesting to see what it’s worth – the BIN is $89,000!
Bidding is at a much more reasonable $12,100 with the reserve not yet met. Find this dynamic duo for sale in New Jersey
