Flat tracking has enjoyed a strong resurgence in California and the rest of the US. Whether or not you have the balls to ride flat out on dirt with little to no brakes (I do not), there is no denying that the unique style makes for some mean looking machinery. The Victory Octane is not what I would call sport-inspired, but the 1,179cc fuel injected engine and 6 speed transmission offers a strong base to those with wild imaginations.
The $5,500 Buy It Now price is what initially caught my eye, being half of what this bike was valued at new [Editor’s Note: $10,499, per Lemmy’s review on RevZilla]. It is a milestone when a bikes value is halved in a year, and holds a different meaning for each model. On the outside, it doesn’t take a genius to reveal this bike has had a lot of work done. A Roland Sands Design Flat Tracker kit gives the bike its profile. A full exhaust, 15” rear shocks, and engine tune compliment the build.
