This bike is claimed to have been restored to better than new mechanical condition, though the bodywork and frame “are original and bear the scars of an off-road veteran.” For $1,500, I’d say that’s just about perfect.
Weighing just 218 pounds, this enduro is said to be perfect for vintage enduro competition or well setup for goofing around in a wide variety of off-road locales. Highlights of the work include a new front wheel with new bearings, fork rebuild, modern headlight, suspension set up for a 235 pound rider, new head stock bearings, Trail Tech speedo, new bars with Acerbis barkbusters, new water pump, repaired swingarm (was cracked) with new bearings, bushing, and swingarm axles shaft…the list just goes on and on. Oh, and the cherry on top is a rebuilt Ohlins factory shock, too. The seller has a complete service and build documentation to go with the bike and he wisely has a photo album of the build and the bike as it sits currently.
