If you own a JDM 1986 Suzuki GSX-R750 Limited Edition, then we’ve got the perfect complement over at Iconic Motorbikes! This is a Suzuki RB50 (also known as a GSX-R50 or a GAG50) that’s been custom painted to look like it’s bigger brother. On top of that, someone replaced the OEM single square headlight with some dual rounds to better emulate the GSX-R750.
The RB50 GAG was Suzuki’s competitor to the Yamaha YSR50. The RB, released in 1986, featured 4 different liveries: red/white, a blue/white replica of its bigger GSX-R brothers, a grey/white tribute to a bomber plane, and the pink “Little Racing” livery complete with a few rabbits. Despite the toy-like nature, the RB actually had a proper aluminum box frame, hydraulic disc brake at the front and full-floater aluminum swingarm. The 141-pound bike was powered by a small 4-stroke 5.2hp engine.
This example is VIN: LA41A108648, we imported it (along with another GAG50 painted like a RG500 Walter Wolf) from Japan and unfortunately the history is not known. The odometer shows 2,425 kilometers (1,506 miles).
Find this RB50 for sale in Santa Monica, California with bidding up to $1,100 here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
