The Moto Guzzi LeMans Rosso Corsa is a rare version of an already rare bike. Only 50 of the Rosso Corsa editions were brought to the United States. Based on the previous generation of the venerable LeMans, this bike was the pinnacle of a bike known for classic Italian cafe racer lines and the bulletproof, well-known MG V-Twin engine. Designed as MG’s top of the line sportsbike at the time, it came equipped with plenty of trick parts like Ohlins suspension front and rear, and Brembo calipers.
Though it was equipped with trick parts, the Rosso Corsa still weighed nearly 500 pounds dry. The 90 horsepower out of the 1100cc V-Twin was enough, but not enough to move this bike like you’d expect from the looks. With that said, it’s a cool, rare bike. Understand that this isn’t a track bike, and you’ll have a great time. Want to learn more? Check out Motorcyclist’s review of the Rosso here.
This example (VIN: ZGUKTC0063M11125) has 13,795 miles on the odometer, however the seller says that the odometer was not working during his test ride before this sale. “The last time I rode the motorcycle was in 2015” and he states that the odometer worked at that time. Just something to be aware of. The seller is the second owner and it’s been in his possession since 2006. Upgrades include tank protectors, bar risers, braided brake lines, Corbin seat, carbon fiber exhaust, Throttlemeister bar end controls, K&N air filter, aftermarket windshield, lower pegs…it’s a long list. As long as the you believe the seller’s story about the odometer reading, this seems like a great opportunity to snag a rare Italian.
