Post Sale Update: This little Yamaha sold for $1,610.58 after 26 bids on eBay.
Also known as the “Chappy”, here’s a cute little step-through scooter that was releasedto compete with Honda’s tiny trail bikes – the most common options were the LB50 and this LB80, the latter of which features an oil-injected 82cc engine and a 2-speed, 2-stage transmission.

This example (VIN: 591012240) has 2,080 miles and the videos above suggest it runs well. The only modification seems to be aftermarket rear shocks designed to “support adult weight” though the originals are included. The sale includes the original key, owner’s manual, tool kit, and a Maryland title which does say that it’s not to be registered but you may be able to get away with it depending on your state of residence.
