Post Sale Update: This rare-in-the-US Honda sold for $1,274 after 44 bids on eBay.
It was called the “Bros” in Japan, but you probably recognize this as a Honda Hawk GT. The US only officially saw this bike as a 650, but Japan also got a 400 version which was good for 33 horsepower. The 650 is a more logical choice as a used bike nowadays, but this is an interesting option for JDM collectors.
For more details on the little brother, check out this review from MCN which says “Accept what the BROS 400 is – a smart, cheap new-rider friendly all-rounder – and it’s a great bike.”
This example (VIN: NC25-1005605) is being offered by a seller with several grey market bikes, and he apparently rode this bike in London just a few months ago. Despite that, it’s going to be sold with a Tennessee license plate, registration, and title. He says that it’s completely stock and that it runs very well, the only thing to note might be the stickers on the speedometer to help those of you stuck in ‘miles per hour.’
