Post Listing Update: This Wolf did not meet reserve with 21 bids up to $1,136.
Ural is best known for their sidecars, but over the years they also offered three main solo models – the Solo sT, the Retro Solo, and the Wolf. The Wolf was Ural’s take on a chopper, and it was apparently built in partnership with a Russian biker club called the Night Wolves.
Like the BMW R1200C, this is a cruiser with a boxer engine. Unlike the Beemer, this has a 750cc engine, forward and standard foot controls, and a 4-speed transmission. Because the powertrain is so similar to the sidecar bikes, you can easily add a reverse gear if you’re so inclined. Basic specs were 38 horsepower, 38 lb-ft of torque, and a top speed of 80. For more specifications, check out this old Ural page.
This example (VIN: X8JMH23883U2108440) has 10,400 miles on the odometer. The seller is the original owner, though he acquired it as a demo bike. Interestingly, it’s got dual foot controls from the factory, as in you’ve got the shifter and brake pedals on the mid-controls AND on the forward controls. It’s also got a kick start and electric start. The seller will include old saddlebags and the original handlebars (taller bars have been installed). The sale will also come with the factory tool kit, tire patch kit, hand pump, spare parts, touch up paint, and “a few other odds and ends.”
