Post Sale Update: This GPz sold for $5,226 after 7 bids on ebay in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The last air-cooled large-displacement twin shock bike from Kawi, the GPz1100 was a superbike with a cockpit fairing, fuel injection, and lots of incremental upgrades over the Z1000 that it replaced.

The ’82 model has a model code of B2, and it had clipons compared to the handlebars of the original ’81 model. It also got a cockpit fairing, larger brakes, and a revised fuel injection system. It packed a 1,089cc inline four motor that produced 109 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque. Wet weight was 550 pounds. For more on the big GPz, check out this story on MCN. They call it “the last king of a vanished clan – aircooled superbikes“.

This example (VIN: JKAKZBB11CA013042) has one registered owner, though it’s on offer by One Up Moto Garage, the shop that performed a long list of recent work. Highlights of the upgrades include a full 4-1 Kerker exhaust, Progressive shocks, HEL Performance stainless steel brake lines, K&N air filter, Dyna ignition coils, and an aftermarket fork brace. The sale includes “a stack of binders and manuals with records, original tool kit, a spare seat, and a tub full of good spare and original parts”. The seller does a good job photographing the small amount of minor cosmetic issues and provides a startup video:

Two issues are noted, specifically a “slight oil weep from the valve cover gasket” and a non-functional dash indicator for the left turn signal, though the actual signals work fine. Find this GPz for sale in Fayetteville, Arkansas with bidding up to $3,400
