Over on the auction site we’ve got an interesting offering from our friends at Bartel’s Harley-Davidson – a MV Agusta F4 1000 that was traded in by the original owner. It had been sitting for a while so they had us make it a runner before listing it, but during the service we realized just how original it is – it’s still on the same Michelin Pilot Power tires that it was delivered with.
The F4 is special because of the performance (which other bikes have surpassed) and the beauty (which other bikes have not). In 2005, MV Agusta updated the F4 series with a 998cc engine, which bumped power up to 166 horses and top speed up to 184 miles per hour. The upgraded engine was surrounded by quality components such as 50mm Marzocchi front forks, Sachs shock, and Nissin brakes, but for many riders the styling (particularly the quad organ pipe exhaust) stole the show. I don’t think the F4 ever got any prettier – MV updated the bike a couple of times in the future but I think it got slightly worse looking each time. But maybe you disagree!
Find this MV Agusta for sale in Santa Monica, California with bidding up to $11,100 and the reserve already met here on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.
