In 2014, Honda introduced a SP version of their 1000cc superbike, upgraded with Brembo brakes, some minor engine modifications, and Ohlins suspension. That year, they also won the Rider, Constructor, and Team Championships in MotoGP. To celebrate, they offered up two “Champions Edition” versions of the SP with Repsol liveries of their two MotoGP riders – Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Here’s one of the latter, and it has just 23 miles.
I’m not able to verify it, but the seller of this example (VIN: JH2C5967FK400145) says that just 61 of these bikes were sold in North America. The sale includes the “original bill of sale and all paper work. It also includes the extra decals that come with the champions edition that go on the bottom.”
