Hosted by the Southern California Norton Owners Club, the Hansen Dam Rally is one of the largest classic British motorcycle events in the US. It’s an excellent opportunity to check out some classic Britbikes and talk shop with their owners, so that’s what I did yesterday. In no particular order, here are my favorite photos from Sunday:

Bike-urious reader Ken M brought his gorgeous Triumph out to the show. His son rode the KTM Duke 990 in the background – good taste runs in the family!

Jerry Burak brought a couple of motorized bicycles, including this CycleMaster which made me think of my time at the National Motorcycle Museum when Vy and I went to England last year.

A modern CB1100 with a Whitehouse retro kit (~$6,000)

Norton frame, Ariel Square Four motor. This was previously owned by Homer Knapp.

The license plate translates to “Mini Woody”. As I was taking this photo, two gentlemen behind me were admiring the car while one guy said to his friend “that’s what Rebecca calls you, right?”
If you like what you see, I’ve got another 86 photos for you to enjoy in this album. Enjoy!
