I just stumbled upon Bikesville San Diego County, and I can already tell this is going to be my new favorite site for the next few days.
Bikesville was claimed to be the area’s first ‘motorcycles-only publication’ back in the early 70s. It ran for just under 2 years, and unfortunately fell apart when the editor, Chuck Surprise, had a serious motorcycling accident. Fast forward several years – Chuck is back on the road, and he’s been able to digitize all the issues of Bikesville for your enjoyment! It’s definitely worth some time out of your day for a trip back in time.
