Picture Intermission – LA Motorcycle Club in 1911

I was sent a link to this from Reddit, and it’s one of the coolest motorcycle-related photos I’ve ever seen. Here’s an image of the Los Angeles Motorcycle Club in Venice.

According to a commenter in that thread, the photo is of Abbot Kinney Pier, which was built in 1906 and burned down on December 20th, 1920 after a gas heater in a dance pavilion burst. Here’s an interesting history on the pier that’s worth checking out.
