BMW, Harley, Yamaha, and Ducati (I’m sure I’m missing others) have all given custom builders bikes to work with in the past – a couple of weeks ago I shared the Custom Rumble Scrambler contest that Ducati held. Now Indian’s getting in the game with Project Scout, a dealer custom contest with 36 entrants. Voting is now open, so take a look and pick a winner!
The only requirements were that the builders had to use a 2016 Scout and at least three factory accessories, so hopefully there’ll be a wide variety of styles to choose from.
Click here to check out the options and vote. What are your favorites? Here are three of mine:
“Scout Tank Machine” – Paris, France. If I had to pick one of the entries to own and ride, this would be it. Admittedly, it’s not a wild custom like some of the others, but it’s a lot cleaner than almost any other entry.
“To All Ages of Motorcycles” – Adlliswil, Zurich, Switzerland. Something about that old GSX-R fairing just does it for me, even if I don’t care for all the bronze. The builders tried to create a ‘weird crazy mix of all ages of building and customizing’, with some bobber, endurance, and dirt track elements. I like how absurd it is, even though it makes no sense:
“Mad Max” – Charleston, South Carolina, United States. Built with a steam punk feel thanks to a lot of custom brass plated parts:
Voting ends on February 19th, and the top 3 finalists will be sent to Daytona Bike Week.
