Post Listing Update: This custom Buell did not get any interest at the asking price of $12,000.
Built by Sylvain Carignan, this Buell Firebolt started as a project with a broken transmission and it evolved into a cafe racer that’s dripping with carbon fiber.
The bodywork was designed in SolidWorks (note the air intake that’s been molded into the top of the “tank”), the electronics are centered around a Motogadget m-Unit, and the drivetrain was gone through, as well. For more details on this custom Buell, check out this feature on Pipeburn.
In a world where the average custom prioritizes style above everything else, this Buell retains fenders, mirrors, and what looks to be decent lighting, too. The price doesn’t seem to be eye-watering, either.
