In a small town in Belgium called Dilsen-Stokkem, Sandy Poglavec created a Harley shop called Poechy’s Classics. After 20 years of customizing bikes with an automotive specialist named Erick, both gentlemen decided to start a company called Q-Tec Engineering to develop trikes (and even quads) on the Softail platform. Here’s one of the rare quad builds, which does not require a motorcycle license to ride. Frankly, at this point it’s not much of a motorcycle, but it’s so odd I can’t help but share it.
One nice feature of the design is that no permanent changes are made to the donor bike – it’s all basically bolt-on work that can be done in less than a day. For more on this build, check out this article on the Kneeslider. Initially, these were not available in the US but it looks like American Bike and Trike out of Gilbert, Arizona has started to import them.
The seller only includes one photo of his/her bike, so if you want to see other angles of it, head on over to the Q-Tec site for more images:
UPDATE: I’ve since found a better link with more photos of this build below. The donor bike had 454 miles on it, the conversion is brand new. It features a 103 cubic inch Twin Cam B motor with a mechanical reverse, custom wheels, giant tires, and adjustable suspension. It’s adorned in a bronze paint job with blacked out “bumpers” (feels weird describing bumpers on a bike). Find this Harley quad for sale in Gilbert, Arizona for $45,000 here on Cycle Trader .
