This bike started as a BMW R100 “upgraded with RS componentns” before it was torn apart with the plan of rebuilding it as a race bike. There’s a lot to like about this project – it has new Kibblewhite heads, an oil cooler, Race Tech springs, and more. But the coolest modification is a monoshock conversion with a BMW S1000RR shock/spring. In the seller’s words, “life has gotten in the way and I will never finish this.” Are you up to the task?
I should note that a few parts are missing – gauges, battery, and some “electrical components”. But like I said above, there’s a lot to like. Other upgrades include a Valeo starter, Dynatek ignition, Woodcraft clipons, Tarozzi rear sets, EBC brakes, Boxer Cafe bodywork, Ohlins steering damper, and Gustafsson Plastics windshield. Almost all of the upgrades and spare parts are brand new. The engine, transmission, frame, swingarm, forks, final drive, and wheels have been powdercoated.
