I’m a big fan of the CB1100 – though some of my friends disagree, I think it’s a better (and more enjoyable bike) than the Triumph Bonneville…though I guess we’ll have to see what the upcoming water cooled Bonnie is going to be like. When the CB was reintroduced to the US in 2013, they only offered it in red and black – which makes this blue tank a rare find in the US.
Blue was available in Canada, which is how the seller of this bike was able to change up the visuals of this bike. Something to note is that in 2014 the CB got a 6th gear and a revised gauge cluster (both of which are nice). I thought this bike looked good in red but I think it’s even better in blue (or white, which was also unavailable in the US). This example (VIN: JH2SC651XDK000058) has less than 3,000 miles but has already had the 4k service done. There’s a scrape on the right side engine cover though it’s hard to see. The bike is equipped with hand warmers and a rear luggage rack if you want.
