Claimed to be one of just 200 scooters that were originally built for the Italian market, this 2-stroke liquid-cooled Husky scooter is in “perfect cosmetic condition” and it’s said to be the only one in the US. Husky collectors, assemble!
Per the seller (a frequent Bike-urious commenter and also the seller of the trio of Honda 305s from yesterday), this was brought to the US to be a pit bike for a NASCAR/IndyCar driver because Husky partially sponsored a NASCAR driver in 1998. Based on that description, my assumption is that the driver was Bobby Labonte. It was then given to one of his mechanics, and that’s who the current seller acquired it from.
