To me, the best thing about supermotards is how light they are, which is why Aprilia tries to distance the 490-pound Dorsoduro from this category by calling the bike a ‘maxi motard’. Either way, it’s a hefty naked bike that’s fast, fun, and very, very rare.
I know Aprilia didn’t import many of these bikes, but the seller claims just 68 were brought over in 2012, the last year they were offered (you can still buy a 750 Dorsoduro, though). This example is claimed to be in showroom condition with 2,448 miles. However, the seller won’t allow a test ride and the asking price is just $300 less than the original MSRP! Hopefully he’s a bit more flexible on price than he is with his test riding policy.
