Post Sale Update: This Adler sold for $845 after 36 bids on eBay.
Between 1900 and 1957, the German manufacturer of Adler (which translates to Eagle) built motorcycles and cars. The M200 was built between 1952-1954, and it featured a 2-stroke twin that produced 9.3 horsepower – suitable for transportation purposes but not much else. Unfortunately, this bike isn’t currently suitable for anything, as it’s been sitting in a basement and the motor doesn’t run.
Top speed was 62 miles per hour and it weighed 297 pounds. For some specifications on the M200, check out Sheldon’s EMU. This bike (VIN: 92605) obviously is going to need some work, but the seller has decided to describe his bike with lots of photos as opposed to text. In addition to all the missing parts, this bike is also missing a title.
