Aermacchi’s Ala Azzurra was offered in two generations – this is one of the 2nd gen’s, which were produced between 1960-1967. It was imported from the United Kingdom (where it was street legal) several years ago but the two owners since have not yet brought it back to life.

Aermacchi Ala Azzurra - Left Side

The Ala Azzurra utilized a 246.2cc four stroke single good for 13.7 horsepower and a top speed just shy of 80 miles per hour. Just 1,149 examples of this breed were built, and this example has been sitting with British paperwork for much too long. Unfortunately, this bike does not have a title, so you’ll probably stuck using this for vintage racing once you bring it back to life. The seller notes that the frame is close to stock but a bracket has been added up front to mount the race fairing, which also has turn signals for some reason.
