It did not go well.
The conversion kit was a twin track setup that you’d bolt your motorcycle into (once you removed the wheels). The drive chain connects to the tracks for power, and the motorcycle is able to lean inside of the contraption. Price in a 1973 magazine profile was noted as $778. Check out the Kneeslider for a couple of pictures of a period ad – it’s pretty wild to see a Kawasaki H1 used as the demo bike!
