An Italian manufacturer that you probably have never heard of before, Testi was founded in Bologna in 1951. They built some interesting vehicles using engines from Sachs, DEMM, and FB Minarelli – usually 49cc two-stroke powerplants. As a quick example of their quirkiness, on one of their 50cc trail bikes they built in thermometers into the rear view mirrors! One of the rarest models from Testi was the Bagaglino, a utility trike with a 49cc FB Minarelli engine.
It’s been tough for me to find further information on the model – so please chime in if you know anything else! The seller says it might be the only one in the US. I believe one was auctioned when Mike Harper’s collection was sold off (called a Moto Morini at the time, though) and I’m guessing this is the same one. I think the asking price is a little high here, but I do agree with the seller that this would be a cool way to advertise (or the world’s greatest pit bike).
Find this rare Italian trike for sale in Mustang, Oklahoma for $3,200 here on Craigslist.
