Post Listing Update: This Hawk got no interest at the opening ask of $4,200. It was relisted with a similar fate at $3,700.

Offered by the second owner, this race bike only gets ridden two or three times a year so the seller wants it to go to someone else who will enjoy it more frequently. The Honda Hawk GT was ahead of its time and despite poor sales numbers they were very successful in club racing. Here’s your chance to get in on the fun with a well-prepped Hawk racer.

For more on the Hawk GT, what made it special, and why it was a commercial flop, check out this story on Moto-USA.

This bike (VIN: JH2RC3105JM002469) is said to be in excellent condition and it weighs 344 pounds ready to race. You could save a few pounds by going back to a total loss ignition but right now it’s wired with a charging system. The modification list is seriously extensive, but some highlights include an Airtech RC30 front fairing and a Beasley Composites RS125 tail, Hiperform sub frame, Woodcraft rear sets, stainless steel brake lines, Wiseco 700cc big bore kit, Megacycle cam, the radiator from a Suzuki GSX-R750, Fox Twin Clicker rear shock, and the front end from a Honda CBR929RR. You’l also get plenty of spare parts, couple of shop manuals, and lots of paperwork.
