Post-Sale Update: Bike has sold.
I finally featured my first Green Frame on Bike-urious just a few days ago, but it almost immediately was taken off Craigslist. Thanks to reader Sebastien L., I can now feature a beautiful example of this legendary bike – but this time I can ensure the listing stays up for more than a couple of hours.
Possibly the most desirable Ducati of all time, only 401 Green Frames were built, and it was a true race replica. The racebike’s success at Imola has inspired plenty of Ducati models, particularly the modern classic Paul Smart SportClassic. This specific Ducati 750SS Green Frame was restored 10 years ago and has not been started since. The current seller picked it up 1 month ago but is looking to sell it and fund the acquisition of other motorcycles. The restoration took over a decade, and it has since spent its time as a living room art piece.
This Ducati 750SS Green Frame is available for sale in France for 70,000 Euros (about $87,000). UPDATE: Bike has sold.
