Post-Listing Update: After being relisted a few times, the highest bidding ever got on this Vincent Comet Racer was $25,100, but that was not enough to meet reserve.
After sitting out in the elements for 27 years, this Vincent Comet Racer was brought back to life over a two year period by Al Mark, who added some personal touches like the Manx Norton replica fairing and the red paint job. Purchased from a road race museum a couple of years ago, it is now ready for sale after being run at Isle of Man and Bonneville. This Vincent Comet has been built into a replica of the Grey Flash, a 500cc single racer, and painted red because “I wanted people to see me on the track and get out of my way or at least give me a wide berth.” Find this Vincent Comet racer for sale in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey with an opening bid of $5,000
