Post Sale Update: This C110 sold for $3,275 after 27 bids on eBay.
The second generation of the C110 started in 1962, and it featured a 49cc single paired with a 3-speed transmission. This example was recently restored with over $4,000 in parts, and everything is said to work.
Originally, the C110 was called the Sports Cub and it was like a regular motorcycle in that you sat over it rather than the step-through design of most Cubs. The 49cc motor was good for 5 horsepower at 9,500 rpm, and there were a few variants. This example (VIN: C110477239) is said to be in great shape thanks to the “unbelievable restoration.” The sale includes service books and a parts file.
