Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?
This list will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:
Red/White/Blue Honda x 2 – CB1100F and CBR900RR – The CB900R sold for $8,550 after 26 bids on eBay, though the high bidder flaked and it was relisted with a BIN of $9,500. The CB1100F sold for $4,727 after 23 bids on eBay in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
1986 Honda NS400R – sold for $10,600 after 24 bids on eBay in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
1 Owner Ending Soon – 1981 Honda XL185S – sold for $1,475 after 10 bids on eBay in Seattle, Washington.

No Reserve – 2008 MV Agusta F4 R 312 With 5 Miles – sold for $10,807 after bids on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Commerce City, Colorado.
No Reserve Chappy – 1974 Yamaha LB80 – sold for $1,610.58 after 26 bids on eBay in Arlington, Virginia.
2000 Kawasaki ZRX1100 – sold for $8,250 after 23 bids on eBay in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

No Reserve – 1975 Norton Commando 850 – sold for $7,977 after 12 bids on eBay in Columbus, Ohio.
No Reserve Project – 1977 VéloSoleX 4600 – sold for $102.50 after 21 bids on eBay.
Lucky Livery – 1995 Cagiva Elefant 900 AC – sold for $10,651 after 20 bids on eBay in Anaheim, California.
1982 Kawasaki GPz550 – sold for $3,150 after 17 bids on eBay in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:
Restored and Ending Soon – 1972 Norton Commando – did not meet reserve despite 3 bids up to $10,200 on eBay.
1983 Harley-Davidson XR1000 – did not meet reserve with 30 bids up to $12,600 on eBay in Pismo Beach, California.
Turbo Diesel Custom – 1985 Suzuki GS450 – did not meet reserve despite 38 bids up to $10,200 on eBay in North Salt Lake, Utah.
NOS Flying Dragon Bodywork – 1973 Honda CB350 – did not meet reserve with 17 bids up to $7,400, however it was relisted with a BIN of $7,500 and then pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown.
Did anything surprise you?
I figured the diesel custom seller would have let it go once it crossed $10k, but who knows how much he had already invested in it.
