At the 2022 Vintage Motorcycle Days in Ohio, the AMA Heritage Foundation showed off a ’18 GSX-R1000 created by Suzuki and painted in a tribute to his iconic ’80s Pepsi Racing livery. Schwantz himself was the Grand Marshall of the event – he did a parade lap on it and signed the top of the tank. A year later, the AMA raffled off the bike and the winner is ready for it to find a new home.
In the 2018 model year, Suzuki had a GSX-R1000 and a GSX-R1000R – the latter cost 17% more and came with upgraded Showa suspension as well as a quickshifter and launch control.
Obviously the big draw here is the paint job and Kevin’s signature. At first glance, the only other deviation from stock I see is a Yoshimura AT-2 slip-on. The seller amusingly notes that the bike has 33 miles on it “this means the buyer can put mile 34 on the bike!”
Find this tribute Suzuki for sale in Houston, Texas with an unmet opening bid of $14,000 or a BIN of $20,000 here on eBay.
