Post Sale Update: This CR250R sold for $12,200 after 2 bids on eBay in Vernon-Rockville, Connecticut.
Honda debuted the third-generation twin spar aluminum-framed CR250R two-stroke motocrosser in 2002, though they followed it up in 2003 with changes to the cylinder, exhaust, valves, air intake, CDI, suspension, and more. Yet none of that may matter with this bike, as it’s never been ridden before and I’d be stunned if the next owner would want to change that.
Per the seller, the bike was started at the Honda dealership before being sold, but it’s never been ridden or supposedly even put into gear. The fuel was drained and it was immediately put on display. Somehow, it’s also got a New Jersey title. Here’s a walkaround video of this time machine:
