If you saw yesterday’s Honda CR250R and like the idea of displaying a never-ridden two-stroke off-roader but you bleed green, the same seller has a KDX200 in similar condition – it was apparently started for the first time ever this week.
I’ve generally only heard good things about this bike, and there’s extra collectibility with this example (VIN: JKADXNHC26DA05241) as 2006 was the last year for the model (and the last year that Kawi made a two-stroke dirt bike). As Dirt Bike Magazine puts it in this recap of the KDX200, “the 2006 KDX would no doubt continue to sell well today if the two-stroke trail bike hadn’t been outlawed. It’s a bike that has never had an adequate replacement, and we miss it.”
This KDX was just started for the first time this week and the odometer shows four miles. It’s offered with a New Jersey title.
