Post Sale Update: This EBR sold for the BIN of $6,000.
I have written about EBRs before, and I will write about them again. I love them, I love what they stand for, and I cannot believe the deals you can find on what was once a $16,995 bike (according to Cycle World). The gas tank is a lie, the brakes are in the wrong place, and they have a V-Twin. What a combination for performance! At my last Buttonwillow track day, someone was riding an 1190SX they got brand new for $7,800 and having an absolute blast. I couldn’t help but shake his hand.
For reasons I won’t bring up (no one bought them), you can still find these bikes brand new. This 2015 EBR 1190SX is one that fell through the cracks, and sits with 1 mile on the odometer waiting for you, the first owner. It appears to be for sale by a dealer, as there are other EBRs (presumably unsold themselves) in the background of the pictures. Information is sparse however, so contact with the seller is recommended as always.
