I checked out the most recent installment of The Vintagent’s weekly email newsletter (if you’re not subscribed already, you should be!) and was immediately delighted when the first story was about 80s motorcycles that established themselves as design icons of the decade.
Many of them are bikes I’ve featured for sale in the past, like the Vetter Mystery Ship, Target Design ED-1, Honda Motocompo, and even the Fantic Sprinter.
But there’s plenty more to enjoy, including some amazing Honda ELF racers and something I had never heard of before – a Colani Egli MRD-1 that incorporated the rider’s gear as part of the aerodynamics!
