In 2013, this Metisse “underwent modifications to adapt a period appropriate headlamp and taillamp/stop lamp and horn set up to make it street legal”. Would you ever put it on pavement?
This Metisse is powered by a 500cc motor out of a Triumph Daytona, fed by a single Amal carb and paired with a 4-speed transmission. The bike was supposedly restored “some years ago and shows signs of fantastic workmanship throughout.” The bodywork is appropriately adorned in British Racing Green, and it surrounds an original Rickman nickel-plated frame. The seller has owned this bike for 5 years, and the street legal conversion happened at the beginning of his/her ownership.
