When it comes to 70s Japanese trials bikes, the Yamaha TY250 was much more popular than Suzuki’s competitor, which makes this collection of Exactas a pleasantly surprising find.
The seller has apparently been collecting Exactas (also known as the RL250) since 1989, and is letting it all go. You’ll get four bikes in varying conditions. In the seller’s words:
• 1975 Excellent running condition, pictured with steel gas tank: tall Renthal handlebars, MSR Pro Raptor adjustable clutch lever and perch, 61 tooth rear sprocket, skid plate, Works rear shocks.
• 1974 Running but needs rebuilt, piston rattles, pictured with a yellow RM gas tank: tall Renthal handlebars, MSR Pro Raptor adjustable clutch lever and perch, 61 tooth rear sprocket.
• 1974 In the process of disassembly to be rebuilt: tall Renthal handlebars, MSR Pro Raptor adjustable clutch lever and perch.
• 1974 Very early model with lighting kit, this is like no other RL I have ever seen. It is very special.I have never tried to start this one.
In addition, you’ll get a whole bunch of NOS and used parts, plus manuals, parts lists, microfiche (with reader) and special tools. Start a vintage trials team! Find this Exacta collection for sale in Gibsonia, Pennsyvlania for $5,000 here on Craigslist.
