Post Sale Update: After 26 bids on eBay, this cafe’d Bonnie sold for $8,100.
The Bullitt is a “motorcycle blog dedicated to both modern and vintage cafe racers, scramblers, trackers, bobbers and the people who ride them.” They also occasionally create some custom builds, and one of them is now back on the market.
Called The Bullit OG, this beautiful Bonneville features the front forks and clipons from a GSXR-1000, Carrozzeria wheels, custom triple clamps, the seat from a Thruxton (with custom matte black rear cowl), KYB rear shocks from a ZRX1200, and a whole bunch of parts from British Customs, including the 2-into-1 exhaust, airbox removal kit, license plate relocation kit, hydraulic bake resoirve, front sprocket cover, and rectifier relocation bracket kit. For more on the build, check out this article on Pipeburn. At the end of 2015, Pipeburn looked back on all the bikes they featured and named this a Top 3 Bike of the Year.
After the seller bought it about 18 months ago, he almost immediately had to leave the country. Because of that, he apparently has not had the chance to ride it. He says it needs nothing but a new owner. Find “OG” for sale in Rowland Heights, California with bidding up to $6,100
Note that the last time it sold, it went for $10,750 on eBay.
