Come join me and a bunch of other motorcycle crazies at this weekend’s Halloweenish Hillclimb on Sunday, November 1st – brought to you by Hell On Wheels!
The short story is that this is a head to head timed event where you run a half-track and end with a hillclimb. Costumes are mandatory, and there’s some great classes like mini bike, Harley Davidson streetbike, and more. You know it’s our kind of event when “Modern” is defined as anything post-1980.
Here’s a brief video summary of the event from Deus from a couple of years ago:
And here’s the digital flyer (or just go straight to the Hell On Wheels website):
I really hope you’ll make it out with your bike – people are bringing Harley choppers, so you don’t have an excuse if you don’t have a real dirt bike (or if you really don’t have a suitable bike, give me a heads up and maybe we’ll bring the Black Widow out for you). We’ll be bringing out a ’83 Honda XR350R that we bought for the Beater Olympics, and if I can find it, I’ll be bringing back an old costume from retirement:
Please drop me a line if you’ll be there – I know a few other Bike-urious readers are going and I’d love to meet y’all!
