In 1969, John Tickle acquired the rights to build Manx Nortons from Colin Seeley, and he immediately redesigned the frame and offered up 350cc, 500cc, and 650cc variants. Per Cyber Motorcycle, “some of these were very similar to the original Manx apart from the high-level exhaust and Tickle frame. Others bore only a remote resemblance to the originals with a (very) different tank, brakes, forks. They were also considerably lighter and faster.”

This example was built in 2019 by Maurice Candy and it won a 2021 AHRMA 500 Premier race with Tim Joyce as the pilot. The seller says it’s ready to race now and it features a long list of goodies, highlights of which include a magnesium six-speed gearbox, Molnar stainless steel exhaust, magnesium Manx forks with Honda CBR600RR (Showa) internals, Maxton shocks, Dick Hunt magnesium brakes…the list goes on and on, and the bike looks beautiful as well.
