Post Sale Update: This custom CB sold for the BIN of $8,900 on eBay in Anoka, Minnesota.

A restomod that leaves “nothing but the original rebuilt engine and main frame”, this custom CB900F Super Sport is called Tokyo Nights. It’s claimed to weigh about 150 pounds less than its original weight.

This (VIN: JH2SC0109BM000208) is the first build by James Berreau, who states that he “spent over 500 hours designing, fabricating, and building this bike.” Highlights of the work include 1mm over pistons, Mikuni RS34 carbs, Delkevic 4-1 header, ported head with hand-lapped valves, lightened and balanced crankshaft, reinforced frame, modified Ducati Monster subframe, Kayaba forks from a Kawasaki ZX-10R, Triumph 675R swingarm with a Sachs shock off an unnamed Aprila, a custom wire harness built from scratch, Motogadget M-Unit, Dyna 2000 ignition, the top of a Honda CB400F fuel tank merged with the bottom of the stock tank, and plenty more. Claimed wet weight is now 380 pounds! Some photos of the build process can be found on the seller’s Instagram profile. For more on Tokyo Nights, check out this profile on BikeEXIF.
