There’s just something about the “Tangerine Dream” paint job of the early Bonnies that I can’t resist – and thanks to the beautiful photos of this restored example, you can share my joy as well.
This matching-numbers Bonneville was “completely restored as carefully and accurately as possible.” The engine and transmission were rebuilt, the paint was sources from Hutchinson Cycle, and it just looks incredible. The seller notes that the bike starts and runs but if you’re planning on putting lots of miles on it (I hope someone is!) then you should replace the original split carbs with Amal Monoblocs – which they’ll swap out for you.
Even if you don’t plan on bidding, go check out this listing because the photos are lovely. Find this gorgeous Bonnie for sale in Knoxville, Tennessee with bidding up to $10,600 and the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $19,975
